You are, of course, correct. I was lead from the description of a single pipe
resonator with three different reeds to thoughts of other pipes with common
resonators. The dopplefloete does have two mouths on opposite sides of the
pipe and share the resonator. They are used on a number of German fair
organs. I don't know of a use of Ludwig tones on a fair organ but anything is
possible. Sorry if I have generated more confusion than enlightenment.
