88-Note Player Miscellaneous
By Jim Canavan

A few different things, all player-related:

I'm searching high & low for the Loud Pedal On/Off switch & plate for the
spoolbox of a Standard Action 88-note player. Does anyone know of a source
(or have one in their parts box they'd be willing to sell?) The Player Piano
Co. has a toggle switch that will work, but it's
less-than-historical-looking, and requires a bigger hole to be drilled in the
spoolbox side. Any info or leads, please e-mail me at CYBRFLASH@aol.com.
THANKS!

Bob Conant suggested covering the end holes of the 88-note tracker bar with
drafting tape to play Expression/Reproducing rolls...I've been tempted to try
this, Bob, but am bit worried about gumming up the tracker bar...after
removing the tape, will I need to clean it with anything? Fantastik, 409,
etc.? Thanks for your help!

Jason...Regarding the 1812 Overture on a non-Expression roll...check your QRS
catalog. They have a 2-roll set of the piece, #80024 ($23.95).
