I have just signed onto the Automatic Music Digest - glad to be here,
as I have already received a wealth of information in just a few days.

   I, too, started rebuilding as a hobby when a player was given to me;
I don't think I had ever seen one before.  But I was intrigued by the
thing, and, with the help of my friend in Chesapeake, Mr. Al Pebworth,
I got the first one working - I must admit, not very well, but enough
to get me hooked in the rebuilding.  I have now been doing it as a hobby
for about 10 years.

   Al Pebworth also led me to the AMD - I am glad to be a part of the
group.  Thanks for having me.
