I too have had success in recovering a Schultz.  I had the same frustrations
as Bob C. but learned the same lessons as he.  The little micro pneumatic
MUST work freely to pull the valve shut.  Pouch leather would be a good
alternative to the ultra thin pneumatic cloth that Durrell had at the time.
Even that cloth had to be dealt with properly to get the pliability right.
I fought with this particular one for a number of hours before I finally got
it to fly.  It sure worked nicely when I was done.  The rest of the job was
pretty straight forward.  Good luck.   Lar
