1996 AMICA Convention Souvenir Music Rolls
By Robin Pratt

Regarding the St. Louis 1996 AMICA Convention Souvenir music roll, This year
at the Convention there will not be a souvenir music roll...there will be
several! ALL roll producers were personally invited to contribute a (or
more) roll (or book or whatever) of their production. I will be entering one
of my own brand which is ARTISTS' CHOICE MUSIC ROLLS and really, like they
used to say on book report day, if you want one...etc. or if you want to
know how it ends...ΒΆ
Anyway, I cannot tell you all of whom has answered the "call" but several
have and the results will certainly be exciting. The original format was to
be one of "conversion", (not like Ralph Reed) that is, making an "A" roll
into 88 note, 65 to 88 or AMPICO to Duo-ART, whatever. Unfortunately, the
time necessary wasn't available to the roll producers, so although there will
be some conversion-types there, there will also be reissues and new issues of
great stuff. See you there!!!

Thanks Jody!
