Repair Tape
By Mike Walter

Dear Jody,

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

A couple more sources of archival document repair tape are as follows:

Gaylord Bros. 1-800-448-6160 carries Filmoplast in the following
formats:

• P 3/4" x 165' translucent $21.80 per roll
          P1 3/4" x 165' translucent dyed yellow $21.80 per roll
          P90 3/4" x 165' not transparent $21.80 per roll
          P91 3/4" x 165' not transparent dyed beige $21.80 per roll

• Demco 1-800-356-1200 carries Archival Document Repair Tape which
is pressure sensitive, reversible, has a neutral pH, and an acrylic
adhesive.

• 1" x 98' translucent $17.99 per roll

•I have personally used the Demco tape and it has worked well. It is
extremely thin and has a backing which must be removed to be applied.
Both Demco and Gaylord Bros. are library equipment and supply
companies. I would imagine that they should fill orders for anyone who
wanted to buy from them.

Best wishes Mike Walter
