Calliope
By Fritz Gellerman

Monty Carroll's machine is not a calliope, it's a copy of a German band
organ, much more complicated than a calliope. (Sorry, Bea.) A calliope
has only one set of pipes, usually 43 or 44 in number, and is fully
chromatic. Most band organs are not chromatic. A number of MBSI and
AMICA members have built calliopes--Bob Edwards and myself among them.

Plans for building a calliope are available from Bob Stanoszek. His
address is:

    Robert M. Stanoszek
    17641 Sagamore Road
    Walton Hills, OH 44146.
