Re: Darrell's Intro from Australia
By Rob DeLand

Darrell,

I enjoyed your post, and welcome to the group. It seems we have quite a
few members from Australia, and I think that's great! Outside of the
U.S. it looks like our list is well-represented by folks in Canada and
Germany as well; have I overlooked any major pockets? I enjoy hearing
about instruments around the world that we don't see here in the states.
I think it's great that email has allowed us to have this community
bulletin board, and as always thanks to Jody for all his work to make
this so functional!

I have to ask you, Darrell, what exactly is involved in BUSH WALKING?
Please send a note to the list - I realize it's off-subject, but I'm sure
most of us don't know what it is (is it simply hiking? Does it imply a
certain Australian terrain or something?) and I think we need some
cultural enlightenment!!

I didn't mean to overlook your AMI comments. I'm surprised at how many
vorsetzers people have, especially outside the U.S. Perhaps you can let
some air leak out of the Duo-Art pump when the giver-of-orders is around
so you can sell one of the lesser restorations instead!

Best wishes,

Rob DeLand¶
