I believe that in most states, requiring any purchase for contest entry
is **illegal** as it constitutes a lottery; Ed McMahon can't require
you to buy magazines, and McDonald's can't require you to buy their
[toxic] products in order to be eligible to enter their contests.  An
entry form is probably available from Yamaha or the software publisher.

Regarding the FAQ(s):

It would be great if the basic FAQ outline were assembled as a 'web
page, with 'links' pointing to the text sections. Those volunteers
composing and assembling the various sections could 'publish' them via
'web page and FTP sites, linked into the outline via hypertext...

For those who think the above is gibberish and/or are not 'web-connected
yet, please e-mail me.    ;-)

Dear 'web-deprived AMI subscribers (who are probably reading this on
old analog paper technology), I read that Jody is still having to
apologise that you aren't able to read this digest 'online'.  C'mon
folks, America Online is only a measley $10. per month, and there are
plenty of cheap PC's that will give you the hardware basics for
'getting connected.'  There's *no* reason not to get 'online', and a
gazillion reasons that you should. We need you here!  If my 71-year old
aunt can buy a computer; you can too! If you need assistance, please
don't hesitate to call me. There are many other subscribers to this
list who would love to assist you, too!
