Regina Music Box
By Kenneth Keeton

Hello Everyone,

I have been viewing this mailing list for quite some months now and
I would like to place a question and feel this might be the best place
to ask it sence there is such a great mass of info here from you all
pertaining to our collecting interests.

I am looking at buying a Ragina disk music box. The finish is
original and new like. The comb is really nice and plays Great! no
buzzing and all teeth there. It plays ether 12 1/4" or 15 1/4" disks
(do not remember). The name card under the lid looks to be an ad for
Ragina music boxes as if a display model. What really took me by
supprise is that the machine is Coin-op taking nickels. I know this to
be original but really do not know good pricing on the coin-op models.
What do you think a good price for it be and what price at your
resale. The price the seller wants is $4500.00 with 5 disks.

I mostly stick to phonographs and roller organs. I do happen to
have a few music boxes too. but out of all of them the phono's are
what I seem to do best.

   Thanks Much,
          Kenneth Keeton

PS: did anyone see the bio on Edison on discovery last night?
