Lamp Fringe and Organ Books
By Philip Jamison

Two notes on topics past:

I found a source for beaded lamp fringe such as used on the european
orchestrion sconces. It's made in New York for Tiffany repros and comes
in several nice patterns with lengths from 3" to 5". Prices are $25. to
$42. per meter. A distributor is David Smith of Outback Antiques,
Bainbridge, NY. The phone is 607-967-8909.

Also, I got a reply from Gerhard Kern regarding the Frei music he has
for sale. He gave me a quote of 5 DEM (German marks) per meter for
paper patterns of 61 key Bruder music. I think a marc is worthh about
.66 US. He requests the scale of the individual organ. I would use the
pattern to do my own punching. Prices, I'm sure, vary according to
scale size.
