Jim Miller inquired in Digest 96.09.01 about the value of a Polyphon
tall case clock. I assume he is talking about one with a disc that is
15-1/2" in diameter, although they did come smaller than this. This size
disc grandfather clock is typically in the $12-18,000 range, most likely
around $14-15,000. In good playing condition , all original, with an
attractive carved case. The smaller the disc, the lower the price
typically.
