I am not sure, but you may be thinking of the OLD system of
"Dampchaser".  They now have an updated system which _combines_
humidifier and "heat stick" with an automatic humidistat so that a
constant humidity level can be maintained.  It's worth looking into.

The best solution is of course to change your Violano's environment.
Have you considered keeping it at my house?    ;-)
