For some time I used ordinary PVC carrier bag plastic strips four notes
wide and anchored with Magic Tape above the tracker bar. A strip of
cardboard was taped to the bottom end which on reroll tended to lock
under the tracker bar and prevent the strip flying up and being sucked
into the roll. This kind of plastic is too thick to stop the theme
ports on a Themodist player being opened, though, so I have changed to
black (garbage) bin bag plastic, without any cardboard on the bottom.
The strip is anchored with Magic Tape far enough back on the top of the
tracker cover to fold it back for 88n rolls, and is cut short enough
not to be sucked up into rolls on re-roll. And it's thin enough for the
roll to seal the theme ports and so enable the theme on Duo-Art rolls
to work.

The advantage of a strip is that as you draw the roll down, you can
skew the strips outwards to cover fewer end holes for Ampico and
Licensee rolls - the roll holds it there. (On my 65/88n push-up it also
does duty for nickelodeon A roll recuts.)
