Since first getting onto the 'Net some 2 years ago, I've been quite
unsuccessful in finding a web site containing illustrations of art case
grand pianos.  In hopes that some might find it useful, I went through
30 years of colour photographs of private collections I've visited over
the years and extracted a selection of interesting photos of art case
reproducing grand pianos.  I've assembled them into a Gallery off my
home page.  For obvious reasons, owners and locations have not been
identified.

Have a look, and let me know your thoughts and reactions.  The Gallery
is unavoidably graphics intensive, so what is initially displayed are
tiny "thumbnail" illustrations, just enough to give some kind of idea
of what's behind it.  Click on the tiny picture and the full size
picture will be transferred.

These are not professional quality graphics.  They are just a simple
scan of ordinary colour photos.  At very least, it is a beginning at
what I hope will turn up others elsewhere, perhaps of better quality.
If anyone knows of other such displays, I surely would appreciate
hearing about them.
