Tipu's Tiger
By Tony Edmonds

I can confirm that this delightful object does still exist in the
Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It still exerts a macabre
fascination upon the passer by: but alas you can no longer turn the
handle and relish the screams. You may know that the V&A was
established as a museum of the Useful and Decorative arts. Consequently
there is much in there to satisfy the mechanically minded as well as a
half decent cup of tea.
