I must put in a good word for "carpenter" glues. They've never
"creeped" on me. I've repaired many soundboard cracks with this type of
glue with (so far) permanent results and no apparent effect on tone.
Remember that any glue is a poor sound transmitter, and the less used
the better, theoretically.
