Hi Group,

When we were in Switzerland in August, we got a hurry up invitation to
see and hear the  HUGE Taj Mahal Mortier in Retonio's Casino (at the
time in bankrupsy) before it was to be packed for shipment to Australia.
It is still huge and overwhelming when you're a grownup seeing it for
the first time.  Now we need to rely on some of our "down under" members
to find out where it went in Australia.

On another part of the same note, I believe the "warehouse" where Roc
saw the Mortier was probably the American International Gallery in
Irvine, or  Hathaway & Bowers.  I just recently purchased a collection
of books, among them catalogs from the Americal Intl. Galleries from
1977 forward. I have not gone through them yet, but will have some
comments for the group when I get the time to do so.  Like "don't we
wish" on prices and selection!
