Re: Tracker Bar with Extra Holes
By Georges Vaillancourt

Dear Jody

I am sending again the following message because I think that I did not not
sent it to the proper address the first time. Is rolls@foxtail.com the
proper address to get things posted?

Thank you,

Georges

Dear Robbie,

Thank you for answering so promptly. The brand-name of the piano is EVERSON,
it was built in Oshawa, Ontario in 1928. The extra 14 holes are in line with
the row of 88 holes and they are placed in groups of 7 on each side. The
piano part is in excellent shape, it only needed tuning and it now plays
beautifully. The player part seems to be in relatively good shape, we have
managed to make it play after we replaced all the tubing from the tracker
bar. We are currently having three problems, the first one is poor tracking
which may be due to the damaged rolls that we have; the second one is
unsufficient vacuum when using the pedals; and the third one is that some
tubing is missing in many places and we don't know where the new one is
supposed to go. The unsufficient vacuum is probably due to leaks in the
bellows since the player works when we use a vacuum cleaner. Doing this is
probably a bit dangerous because then we get too much vacuum.
