Hi All,

I did say I would let the group know of interesting items in sales in
the UK.

Well I have just viewed a sale with a musical snuff box by H.Capt. The
movement is the usual two air with fine comb and the spring is broken.
I played it by pushing the cylinder and it sounds nicer than mine. The
lid is amazing, It has an oxidised silver (?) panel of a three
dimentional scene beneth the glass lid and is within a gold border. It
looks superb.

Needless to say I have left a bid on it. I can now get down on my knees
and pray.
