A Rare Ragtime Piece Is Hard To Find
By Damon Atchison

I was wondering if anyone knew if this old roll I have is valueable.
It is missing the box, but it's playable. It's called "Tickle Those
Ivories (rag)". If you don't know if it is or not, would you know
where I could find a book that would tell me which rolls are
valueable?

Does anyone have the Charleston or Frankie and Johnny for a standard
88-note player? I'd be interested in buying it.

I recently obtained a piano bench, or someone else did rather, I
haven't seen it yet, but they told me it is like a big wooden box. Not
like the traditional piano benches which had legs. I don't know of any
manufacturer's tags or markings on it. Were these box type benches
popular for players during their era? I was wondering because I'd like
to know if it's authentic or something someone made in their garage in
1972.

Thanks!
