Band Organs on CD
By Matthew Caulfield

I had replied privately to Bill about band organ CD's, but now Rob Deland
asks about availability of CD's of Wurlitzer or American BO's. You can
get good ones from these sources:

Carrousel Music, 30 CD's, including recordings of Dr. Bill Black's
beautifully  restored  Wurlitzer  165 (717-264-5800; carousel@epix.net;
http://www.carousels.com/cmusic.htm);

Dynamic Recording (2844 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616), recordings of
the Seabreeze Park Wurlitzer 165 @ $15 each;

Marion Roehl Recordings, recordings of the Roehls' Wurlitzer 146A, playing
Nice arrangements by  talented Dutch arranger Tom  Meijer (607-797-9062;
fax 607-797-2624);

Klavier Records, 2 CD's, at least one recorded from Bob Gilson's Wurlitzer
165 (San Juan Capistrano, CA; I don't have Klavier's mailing address in
front of me, but can supply it);

Finally Circus World Museum has recently released a CD of its great
Gavioli on permanent loan to them by Royal American Shows ($18.95 plus $5
shipping and handling; comes with a nice 16-page booklet; Circus World
Museum Store, 426 Water Street, Baraboo, WI53913).
