My name is Rick McDowell and I am a new member of your group.  I learned
about your site from Galen Bird who is a collector of mechanical musical
instruments.

I am the secretary and treasurer of the Heart of America Chapter of AMICA.
I am interested in player pianos (I own a 1920 Schiller player and a
1970's Kimball spinet player) and band organs.  I used to own a 1921
Wurlitzer 146-A band organ which I sold in order to purchase a larger
organ that plays 165 music rolls.  I also added a 150 spool frame to the
organ so I can play 150 rolls.  I am not too technical about player pianos
but I am very knowledgeable about fairground organs and American band
organs.  I am also a member of MBSI.  If I can assist anyone with
information I would be glad to help.
