Bruce Clark mentioned materials.  The worst experiences concerning
pneumatic cloth was several years ago.  There was a batch of cloth that
hardened within a few years.  Dave Ramey really had fits with it.  He had
to rebuild several banjos and a Cremona J.  Schaff and Player Piano Co.
both have cloth from Australia now that seems to be very good.  Ramey
buys his leather from a leather supply house in Chicago and Reblitz buys
his in Denver.

I actually have had some lucky days at the local Tandy leather shop.
Finding leather belting for Coinola and other nickelodeons has been a
problem.  I now have to go to Dallas to a leather shop that sells to shoe
repairmen.  It would be nice if Player Piano Co. put it back in their
catalog.  Does anybody at PPC read the MMD?  Hey Craig clue them in.

You might check the area code since Ma Bell seems to be changing them
every other week.  Organ Supply has the valve wire stock to make Cremona
valves and others.  They also have the tension springs for Wurlitzer
valve blocks.  They can also duplicate pipes for your machine.

I mentioned McMaster-Carr Supply Company in the past.  They also have the
fibre board stock material to make Seeburg and Standard action valves.
We punch out our own valves with Osbourn punches.  We are a distributor
for them.  (Thought I might sneak in a little plug for us.)

Has blank decal paper that you can print your own artwork on with a laser
printer, office copier, or ink-jet.  This product is new again in their
catalog.  The first time it was offered there were problems with some
printers.   If it works them it will be real handy.  I had a local print
shop make me some Nelson-Wiggen decals for the inside of the clear glass
window.  EXPENSIVE way to go.  (I have some left over)

In this business of restoring nickelodeons I enjoy making missing parts
more that just about anything.  It is a challenge to duplicate a part.
I have made the cornice pieces for the top of Seeburg K post and most
recently have been making the acid etched brass control plates and name
plate for nickelodeons.

I am surprised Jeffery Morgan hasn't found this site.  I would like to
see Angelo Rulli and Robin Pratt mention again in their bulletins about
this site.
