Need Drawing for Bellows
By Mark Widmer

I am very new to this whole field of players and such, but I have
recently purchased a Starck player that I want to restore. It wasn't
long before I met a few people who had done the same to other, more
respectable, players. (So they pointed out to me.)

I guess I am not so into the quality value part as I am looking forward
to the "fun" part that my family and I hope to have with the lowly
Starck. I have read several weeks of your postings and feel I may now
introduce myself and ask a few questions of the experts on the following:

First, a comment on PPCo. I called with my first order two weeks ago.
I had no customer number and after saying that fact several times,
I was very much welcomed into the mighty "listing" of customers. I found
the service direct, but each little question I had was thought over and
given a reply. I guess I might be lucky, but I truly appreciated the way
my needs were handled.

Second, and more important to my needs: The piano that I am working
on is, again, a Starck dated at 1925. The player action is a Simplex
and is complete with the exception of the bellows and evacuators.
I would like to know if anyone could help me out by providing a
photograph or drawing and the dimensions of what this unit should be.
I feel comfortable in building them from scratch, but need a little
guidance to get started.

Respectfully,

Mark Widmer
