The Mason & Hamlin Piano Company is indeed owned by MSR PianoDisc.  The
pianos are not being built in San Francisco; rather, they are being built
in the same factory in Haverhill, MA as they were before Kirk and Gary
Burgett acquired the company.

The production methods used in the building of Mason & Hamlin pianos have
not changed.  We have gone back to the original scale design that was
used before the Aeolian era, and the materials used in the pianos have
not changed.  We are still installing Renner actions, Renner blue
hammers, and the tension resonator in all of our pianos.  The pianos have
polyester finishes, satin and polished, and the finishes are done in
Haverhill, MA in the Mason & Hamlin factory.

We showed five new Mason & Hamlin pianos at the National Association of
Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California,  this past weekend.
The pianos received favorable reviews from representatives of other piano
manufacturers, piano technicians, teachers, and professional pianists, as
well as current and previous Mason & Hamlin dealers.

By the Way, we thank all RMMP readers who came by our booth and played the
new Mason & Hamlin pianos.
