Fair Organs in Cuba
By Phil Benson

Hi, I'm Phil Benson, Editor of the Fair Organ Preservation Society's
magazine, The Key Frame. Where did you get the "Mr" from? Anyway, I'll
write an introduction for myself soon, but as I've already been mentioned
twice in the MMD, I thought I'd better contribute.

Trevor Taylor did, indeed, write a decent article about organs in Cuba
and I have just searched for it on my archive discs. Oh dear! I shall
have to transcribe it from his original typed notes and post it here as
soon as I can -- I'll ask him first, though.

I can probably put quite a lot of past offerings from The Key Frame on
the MMD but I'll have to check with the authors and, in any event, when
the FOPS homepage gets up and running -- i.e., when I get around to
finding a decent HTML editor and doing it -- a lot of them will find
their way there to encourage new members for the FOPS.

Separately: Jody, if "Readers Digest" can last as long as it has,
"Mechanical Music Digest" seems to be a fair bet as a name. It has my
vote.

[ You certainly wasted no time writing, Phil! I'm happy you've joined
[ us. I like the thought of exchanging articles, too; as in your
[ journal the rights of publication are retained by the authors of MMD,
[ so you only need to contact them. Let us know what we can do for
 [ FOPS, too ! -- Robbie
