Introduction
By Ray Wilenzick

Well, I too have been lurking on MMD for several months without
introducing myself. Learned about this forum from Terry Smythe.

My name is Ray Wilenzick and I live in New Orleans, home of the Super
Bowl, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest and any other big tourist events we can get.
I have been into mechanical music for 30 years. I have restored and
enjoy a Marshall & Wendell Ampico upright, a Wurlitzer 1015 juke box, an
Adler disc music box, a Regina Hexaphone, and a large collection of some
55 outside horn cylinder and disc phonographs.

The phonographs are my major love now. So if there are any phono
collectors on this list, let's hear from you. MMD is really interesting
and you guys are doing a great job.

[ Welcome aboard, Ray. One of these days maybe my jazz band will visit
[ "N'awlans" and I'll get to see the famous French Quarter and all it's
[ music. You would be just the right guy to have the combination player
[ piano & phonograph I saw in Georgia several years ago! Just pump the
[ pedals to turn the record! Please write again sometime. -- Robbie
