For Sale: circa 1916 German-made Gotha Steck 6-foot Pianola Grand,
no.  50739.  Oak case, maintained as piano, player half-defunct but
complete, comes with music-box stool and 12 rolls.  Single-ear tracker
like 1912 Weber.

I've been to see this - location Edenbridge, Kent - and it's either
original or well restored ca. 1955.  Tone is okay but more like an
American.  The case is very tidy but I'm told oak is out of fashion.
Wrest pins are a tiny bit loose - won't hold A440, kept tuned at A430
or so.

Owner has to sell, is asking £900 ($1530) but dealers aren't offering
more than £600 ($1020).  I have bent his ear and he is open to offers.
