Introduction
By Mark Crosby

Hi Jody -

I'm:

    Mark Crosby
    Venice, CA

I repaired reproducers when I was in high school years ago and also many
different types of automated instruments. Now I'm into computers.

Just purchased a Boesendorfer Model 200 and had the Piano Disc system
installed. A piano refinisher who is working on the top of my piano asked
me if I knew where to get the old-style "female" plug to go into one of his
client's reproducing grands (lost the cord and plug somewhere).

I told him I'd ask around to see if one were available. Did a web search
and found your digest!

I'll also be very interested in any subscribers who have Piano Disc or
similar products and share experiences with transferring between types and
transcriptions from piano roll to MIDI, etc.

For example, my system also has the internal synthesizer. And
synchronization between the relatively slow keyboard and the
instantaneously acting synthesizer is an interesting challenge when using
external MIDI files.

Thx.
