Bob, George -- I believe that if you move the half-pedal messages to
channel 3 that they will be reproduced on the Disklavier.  Leave the
controller (65) the same.  You should look in the technical appendix of
the Disklavier manual.  It shows which pedal messages are responded
to, and on what channels.  Give it a try and let me know.  Taking out
half-pedal messages will deprive you of the expression that half-pedaling
gives you.  What Midi devices record half-pedaling?  I don't know much
about Midi keyboards and devices, etc..
