Symphonion Music Box
By Marty Roenigk

Gerry Bay inquired about a 15" disc Symphonion. Symphonion was one of the
top 3 or 4 manufacturers of disc music boxes, but is generally not as
favorably considered as the Regina and Polyphon brands. It is, however,
a fine make. The question is regrettably too broad - music box valuations
are dependent on a multitude of things including condition, style of case,
single or double comb, etc., etc.

If the Symphonion that Gerry is looking at is a 15-1/2-inch with double
combs, and in excellent original condition with a reasonably pretty case,
then it is probably worth around $4000 at retail.
