Peerless Roll Recutting Project
By Stephen Kent Goodman

Dear Joerg, I would like you to consider recutting the Peerless "O"
roll, not to be confused with the "O" roll used on Coinola & Empress
Electric coin-pianos & orchestrions, and cut primarily by the Clark
Orchestra Roll Co., Columbia & Capitol Roll Co.

These early Peerless rolls were issued in both endless and rewind
formats; perhaps there are at least 8 collectors with Peerless machines
who need these scarce, early rolls. I am one who has *no music* for his
Peerless orchestrion.  I can use either endless (preferred) or rewind,;
as it is missing the roll frame anyway, I will fabricate one to play the
style most popular with at least 7 other collectors.

For the readers of the MMD: are there at least 7 other Peerless "O" roll
instrument owners who would be interested in participating by loaning
rolls and purchasing recuts?

Cheers,

S. K. Goodman
