Dear Pete,  Thank you for your response -- you have hit on a good reason
for a programmer to try this project on.  You are certainly right about
the historical background of popular music.  There are so many "new"
pieces, especially songs, that take their themes from classical music.

Probably the most common tune that immediately comes to mind is
"Twinkle, twinkle little star!" from Mozart.  (Please don't ask the
obvious question, "What Mozart composition?"  My brain is not yet that
functional this morning!)

And Larry, there's another project for you.  You would sure be a hit in
MBSI if you made an adjustable microswitch mechanism that could be made
to fit many music box comb layouts!  That would be a standing-room-only
workshop for a convention!

One of the things that hasn't been commented upon is the availability
of programs that can record played and recorded music.  I have seen
(I think) other programs that can do this.  Robbie, are you familiar
with any of them!
