Introduction
By Dave Ingalls

I am a new member and I am not very computer literate; I use the
WebTv. I am a collector interested in all aspects of mechanical music.
I have been collecting and restoring for about 15 years and have the
following antique instruments: disc music box, interchangeable cylinder
boxes, Duo-Art baby grand piano, symphony player organ, player piano,
Seeburg E nickelodeon, organettes, plus misc. small items.

I have built the following from scratch: Wurlitzer style 125 band organ,
Dutch street organ, and a Raffin-style monkey organ. I would like to
find someone with mechanical organ building plans. I have the Roy Norman
and Bob Stanoszek plans.

I am interested in buying the following at a reasonable price to
rebuild for my collection:

  band organ
  monkey organ
  organette
  any type crank organ

[ Welcome to MMD, David. I don't know about the organs you mention,
[ but you can get plans for a simple steam calliope, published years ago
[ in "Live Steam" magazine, from our member Andy LaTorre, at
