Hello Bill Ryan, thank you very much for your very interesting
contribution !  Sorry for the Ryan grandma, but, as far as I know, there
is no roll with Paderewsky's Op.14/1 "Menuet a l'antique" played by Eugen
d'Albert.

The only recordings I know about are the No. 0109 (no surviving roll is
known to me), played by Eugenie Adam-Benard, a simple piano teacher of
Freiburg, and the No. 1263, played by the composer.  To my knowledge,
however, neither of these rolls are for sale.

Think about it and let me know if you perhaps would like to have a copy
of the latter.  But this will take some time (we Europeans are still very
slow in business).

About Gebrueder/Bruder --

Gebrueder is used in company names like "Smith Bros" -- in German:
"Gebrueder Schmidt".  People may have the surname "Bruder", like the
famous organ builders of Waldkirch; if brothers named "Bruder" form a
company it will be called "Gebrueder Bruder" = "Bruder Bros." = "Brother
Bros."

Nevertheless I'm rather disappointed about the careless use of foreign
fecal verbs in this list.  Nowadays we hear this daily on the wireless or
we must hear it when we go to the pictures from the "Girls Bands", which
seem to be very fashionable at the moment.  No more "Scheisse" (shit) or
similar bad verbs in the Digest -- help to keep it clean !
