Substitute for Plastic Glue
By Andy Taylor

Some player repairs require the use of plastic glue (PVC-e) to do certain
repairs. Some day when you run out, rush down to the local Wal-Mart. Go
into the crafts section and pick up a bottle of ALEENE'S TACKY GLUE in
the brown bottle.

I have used this glue with great results. It looks, works and smells
just like plastic glue. I can't tell any difference except the price.
If you will mix this glue 50/50 with water it also is a great sealer.
I always do this on any wood that has suction inside. It doesn't dry
sticky and is good for sealing pouch wells and top valve plates. The
glue will give way before anything else will. Best of all, it can be
bought locally without the wait.
