Seek Player Rolls with Czech Lyrics
By Richard Moody

Recently a note about the "Beer Barrel Polka" was posted mentioning that
it was written by a Czech person under the title "Skoda Lasky". However
several of my Czech relatives (by marriage) were not able to translate
this. One had a translation dictionary, and could not come up with
either term. I found out that "beer" is "pival". (And I thought it might
be "pilsner" after the town of that name in Czechoslovakia.)

I am interested to know if any player piano rolls were made with Czech
lyrics. I am willing to pay at least $20 per roll for them if they are
of interest to the family folk song archivist.
