Will,  You did a great job describing the minimum volumes!  As all the
hullabaloo about music lovers and such, the real answer in self-playing
pianos is playing softly!!

Joe Tushinsky [owner of Marantz Pianocorder] used to say, "The artist
shouldn't interfere with the conversation," or something like that.
