I assume there are a few North American K.D.V. members on this list.
This society ("Kring van Draaiorgelvrienden") publishes "Het
Pierement", an excellent magazine devoted to automatic music (mostly
organs).  Dues are payable in Dutch Guilders only, so I wonder if my
fellow members would have any interest in "pooling" our payments to
reduce the fees involved.

My bank charges me $15.00 to make a check payable foreign currency, for
example.  With my idea, everyone who wanted to would send their payment
to one person (me) who would then send one check to Holland.  I
currently do this for the FOPS with good results.  If anyone is
interested, I will ask the secretary for approval.
