Strohber Player Piano
By ptsdj@mcs.net

Hi -- I was just referred to you as a great source to answer my
question. We just got a Strohber player piano with the player part
removed. It works great as a regular piano which is why we got it.
But, we started getting curious about it as a player piano and wonder
if we should restore it/would it be worth it -- maybe just do it for
fun.

We bought it at a Baldwin piano sale selling new and used pianos to
benefit a Chicago area childrens attraction "LAmbs Farm". We just
wanted a piano at a reasonable price, we saw this one, liked the old
time charm, so we bought it.

It was built in 1928 (maybe 1916), other than that we don't know
anything about it and we can't find anything on the web about it. Do
you know anything about it or where we can find out more about
Strohbers? What do you think about restoring it?

Thanks!

Susan
