Goodale Celluloid-playing Phonograph
By Rob Goodale

> It was patented by a Dr. Goodale. Any relation??

Sorry, no direct relation that I am aware of, but who knows. I would
be very interested in finding out more. I once did an Internet phone
directory search, and something like 100 "Robert Goodales" came up.
One can only guess how many other "Goodales" there are. Seeing how the
chances are good that I am the only modern-day mechanical music
enthusiast "Goodale", I would be very happy to "autograph your
phonograph" for you :-)
