I know many of you simply do away with the felt found in player valves.
I myself like to replace it.  I know it's more work but that's how I
like to do it.  I don't pretend to know more than the original
designers, therefore I replace the felt in the valves.  My problem is
finding a supply of the felt.  The felt I need is the same type the
thin (.050') balance rail punchings are cut from.  Any suggestions?  I
plan on purchasing some of my supplies from American Piano Supply; will
they have the bulk balance rail cloth?  Thanks in advance for the help.
