Kudos to Ron Schmuck and S. K. Goodman
By Peter Neilson

(I tried to send this message to Rick privately, but AOL seems
incapable of delivering it.)

Rick, I am so happy that the Robot Band belongs to someone who knows
how to keep it in proper condition. When I last saw it in Florida it
was terribly out of tune. I suspect that the piano had been tuned to
A-440, while the accordion was at A-435 as it had been since it was
built.

Congratulations on finding the two men, Ron and Stephen, who helped you
restore it to better than Walt ever heard. I'll nominate them both for
President, if they'll accept. They are surely better qualified than
some we've had. On second thought, why waste them in politics?

Your article in MMD is missing one crucial item: An invitation for
people to come and visit you, to see and hear the Robot Band. You
didn't give a hint of your location, which means I cannot even come by
uninvited. What are your plans to make this device accessible to other
music fans, if not to the quarter-wielding general public?
