In an effort to assist a musician friend who is not yet Internet-
connected, I am acting as proxy to pass on the following request.

I know several different folks are working on various methods to
convert piano rolls to MIDI file format.  This fellow is specifically
interested in converting some Luckey Roberts piano rolls into MIDI file
format to assist in doing the transcription to score notation.  The
specific pieces are:

  Irresistible Blues
  Blue Fever
  Railroad Blues
  Killing Blues
  Molasses
  Rosetime & You

I don't know all the details of the project, but I believe he already
has, or has access to, the piano rolls.   The first four are "vocal
style" rolls, the last two are QRS rolls.

If anybody has already done the conversion to MIDI format for these
rolls, or would be interested in assisting this project to do the
conversion, please let me know, along with contact information which
I can pass along.
