Hello everyone, Just a "Thank You" to everyone that sent me an answer
to my question concerning a strange piece of wood located in the
Wurlitzer Photoplayer.

Turns out it is to hold the bird whistle, which had to be removed
occasionally for a refill of water or glycerin.  This block was not
used in either of the two photo players we are restoring!!  So starts
another mystery eh?

Thanks goes to Art Reblitz for identifying this part and the reward of
$10.00 is in the mail.  We have one APP long frame music spool left to
sell from the 12 that we built.  Price $125.00 post paid.  All orders
will be going out Tuesday 23 March.
