Reprinting "Treasures" & "Encyclopedia"
By Marty Roenigk

Art Reblitz asked if we could be of any help on the reworking of the
printing flats when the Bower's Encyclopedia was reprinted. Unfortun-
ately, no. This was all done by National Book Service. As I recall,
it took longer than expected, and I used to have some details but have
forgotten them. I think the flats had deteriorated over time, and had
to be re-copied (re-photographed?).

[ I think you also said that NBN had to carefully re-paste the typed
[ copy before making new plates. I can imagine it required many
[ hours of painstaking labor. -- Robbie
