Royalties for Automatic Music in Public
By Bernt Damm

Hi, After reading Karl Ellison's posting, I began wondering about
royalties and copyright on all those dozens of Pianomation CDs I have
sold to hotels over here. These pianos are playing in public all day
and no one has ever thought about any copyrights, etc.

Does the purchase of a Pianomation CD automatically include the right
to have it play in public?

I am not worried, just curious. After all, this is Africa and nobody
really seems to care about such small details.

Regards,

Bernt Damm
