Introduction
By Phil Underwood

Hello all, My name is Phil Underwood. I just joined this list.

My collection is small but includes a Marshall & Wendell Ampico player.
It was salvaged from a summer house on the Kankakee River in Indiana.
It had severe water damage and the veneer is shot on the bottom 6" but
it sounds great. My other toy is a Wurlitzer style 160 player theatre
organ. This is a 6-rank Unit Orchestra that was installed in 1921 in
the Temple Theatre, Hammond, Indiana.

My wife Diane, my two boys Nick and Tom, and I spent the last three
years helping restore a Barton theatre organ that was installed in
a school in Indianapolis, Indiana.

My question for help on the vacuum pump has already been posted so
Bye for now.

Owner/Preserver Wurlitzer Opus 471

[ Welcome aboard, Phil. Have you found a source of rolls for your
[ instruments? Check the Archives at the MMD web site (info at
[ end of the Digest) for good leads. Good luck! -- Robbie
