Convert Reiterating Xylophone to Single Stroke
By Don Teach

Seeburg used two different types of repeating mechanisms in their
xylophone. One of these had a little metal finger on the bottom of
the pneumatic that opened a pallet valve. Remove the finger and no
more repeating.

The other style used a slide valve. I think the Edgerton KT Special
used the little metal finger on the bottom of the xylophone. You could
keep the machine "original" by removing the finger. The xylophone will
leak -- but then, it does anyway.
